Security Onion Challenges

2-hours later i wish i had seen the notice that Security Onion for 32bit only works via Ubuntu 14.04, I have been trying to mount/partition and install on Centos 6.8 all morning. I would be upset but I'm listening to the Whispers "Seems Like I Gotta Do wrong" and its got me in the right space. Reviewed some HIPPA stuff earlier for a call later. The Omnibus seems pretty generic. I need to check but i think ISO 27001 might meet all the requirements without having to come up with specialized cyber controls. Another project for another day. back to Ubuntu.
Install is going pretty good thanks to (how-to-install-ubuntu-server-14-04-trusty-tahr.html) didn't realize that there is 1.2Tb volume. Dang, I  think I jinked the install; WTF-Over  (configuring apt 40% retrieving file 45 of 45)
fix- restarted the install with the network cable disconnected reconnected it at the APT and things moved right along: no reasoning just read online someone did the whole config unplugged but still had issues.
